BDC is highly experienced in the provision of fibre optic cable installation. We offer
complete design, installation testing and commissioning services with national
coverage. All fibre installations are tailored to individual’s current network
requirements with expansion and future proofing built in to the overall design.
We offer a fibre optic termination and testing service to corporate end users as well
as partnering with other communication providers who prefer to use our skilled
services rather than invest in expensive test equipment and costly engineer
training.
Both methods of termination are offered either direct termination or fusion splicing
of pre manufactured pigtail assemblies.
All fibre testing is carried out with our own calibrated test equipment with either
stabilised light source and power meters (LS+PM) or high resolution triple window
optical time domain reflectometers (OTDR) for performance checked against
standards optical flux budgets
